HISTORY

1980

We started our activities in Callao with the aim of providing the best service to support Peruvian foreign trade.

1984

We opened our first intermodal terminal located on Av. Argentina (Callao) in an area of 80,000 m2.

1997

We created a Business Unit for Freight Forwarders in order to provide a differentiated and exclusive service for consolidated LCL containers.

1998

We implemented a branch at the port of Paita (Piura) which operates in an area of 40,000 m2.

1999

We obtained the ISO 90001 certification which guarantees compliance with the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and excellence of our processes.

2000

We undertook the merger with Oceanica Company, acquiring the Empty Container Depot located in Ventanilla.
We were awarded Zone 2 and 4 of Enapu port in order to provide temporary storage services in an area of 120,000 m2.

2002

We expanded our service range venturing into the file management and safekeeping through the FILE TAINER unit.

2003

We opened the Metallurgic Logistics Center with internal railway facilities and Storage 6 with a roofed capacity of 4,000 m2 and 5,000 pallet positions. In addition, we implemented the use of portable data terminals (PDT´s) for the recording and traceability of operations within the container yard.

2004

We purchased and implemented a plot of 90,000 m2 to be exclusively used as an Import Terminal.

2005

We purchased a plot of land of 55,000 m2 in Ventanilla expanding the Empty Container Depot infrastructure to 155,000 m2.

2006

We set up a Terminal for import and export air cargo at the premises of Av. Argentina and a storage for logistics services of 7,000 positions. We also started operations at the Storage Terminal in Matarani (Arequipa).

2007

We purchased 2 RTGS (Rubber Tyred Gantry), first of its kind in the country, for operations in the Import Terminal. Additionally, we purchased a plot of 600,000 m2 in Ventanilla to build a port specialized in the shipment of minerals and bulk material.

2008

We opened a Mineral Deposit on Av. Nestor Gambeta in order to meet the need for better infrastructure for the export logistics of mineral concentrates in Callao.

2010

We obtained the OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 certifications for our Storage located on Av. Argentina 2225 -Callao, which ensure compliance with the best practices in Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental Management. Moreover, we created the Neptumovil Business Unit, in order to meet the logistics needs of the all supply chain of the representatives of all major vehicle brands operating in Peru.

2013

We obtained the GMP + B3 standard certification, which confirms an appropriate Food Safety Management System for the commercialization, storage, and transshipment of fishmeal.

2014

We implemented the NEPTUPHONE, the first contact center in the logistics sector in the country. In addition, we continued with the consolidation of the logistics infrastructure for the automotive industry by the construction of an area of 196,000 m2 in Ventanilla. We also paved an area of 40,000 m2 in Paita, in order to improve the service provided by the Empty Depot. In addition, we implemented a new container washing zone in Paita with a service capacity for 8 units simultaneously.

2015

We obtained the BASC (Business Alliance for Secure Commerce) standard recertification for our premises in Callao and Paita with the aim of preventing illegal acts relating to drug trafficking, smuggling and terrorism in our operations. We also implemented the first Depot Integrated System - SOLPORT in our premises in Callao and Paita.
